I've now been based in New York for several years. It's really impossible to become bored here. I have my own apartment and have made it reeeaal nice and comfortable, so I always look forward to coming back. There's also the convenience of the delivery services you really don't ever have to leave your apartment if you don't feel like it, which happens to me quite often when I come back from long trips. The only thing missing in New York is the beach and the sun.
